<�>Dr. Gabriella Kiskó's reasearch mainly focuses on the application of natural antimicrobials on the safety and quality of food and investigation of microbiological background of new, non-thermal preservation techniques. She has a long-standing interest in the application of natural antimicrobials on food borne pathogenic and spoilage organisms inluding compounds of plant origin (eg. essential oils), animal origin (like chitosan) and microbial origin (such as bacteriocins and antibiotics).
