Al Fauzi Rahmat - MATE Research
Overview
Al Fauzi Rahmat is a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Economic and Regional Sciences at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Hungary, starting in the 2023–2024 academic year with financial aid of the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme. Mr. Al Fauzi previously earned bachelor (S.I.P.) and master (M.I.P.) degrees in government affairs and administration from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
His research focuses on tourism governance and policy, sustainable development issues, regional studies affairs, and economic development; notably, he examines these topics from a multi-stakeholder framework perspective. Currently, Mr. Al Fauzi will begin research for PhD research on concerns for stakeholder collaborative governance in Indonesia’s super-priority tourism destinations.
Mr. Al Fauzi has contributed to a wide range of studies on development issues; the majority of his work focuses on governance, development, and tourism policy issues. He has successfully released several Scopus and Web of Science indexed scientific publications, which address research gaps, including theoretical, conceptual, empirical, methodological, and practical, to enhance the novelty of his findings.
Following Mr. Al Fauzi's academic life, he has served as a teaching and research assistant at a university during his previous studies; a researcher at a research institute focused on development and sustainability issues; a speaker at workshops and scientific paper seminars; and the principal staff member of a project focused on education and language training. Lately, he not only pursuing his PhD studies and worked on his research team but also served as a member of editors’ board and reviewers’ team in some Indonesian-indexed journals. He even received invitations letter to become a reviewer for Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals. As such, Mr. Al Fauzi interested in education through research and teaching.
