István Szanyi - MATE Research
Overview
István Szanyi is a physicist in the Femtoscopy Laboratory of MATE's Institute of Technology. His research targets both theoretical and experimental investigations. He studies the central exclusive production of particles in proton-proton collisions as well as diffractive proton-proton and proton-antiproton scattering, including elastic processes. He analyses data measured in detectors at particle accelerators, mainly at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) operated by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). István Szanyi is a member of the CERN LHC CMS experimental group. He is also interested in analysing data on economic processes.
