Event date:

The participants of pilot version of the Research Excellence Programme met in person at a community event on 13 October at the Bőszénfa Deer Farm.

In a pleasant atmosphere, with delicious food and drinks, the event was an opportunity to establish professional and scientific collaborations between researchers from different disciplines. A visit to the Kaposvár Campus was also included in the programme, helping the participants to get to know better all the campuses of the University.

During the visit to Kaposvár, Péter Gombos, Deputy Campus Director  and Gábor Kiss, Director of the Library, gave the colleagues a tour of the main library, the campus training rooms and the Equestrian Academy.

At the deer farm, the programme was hosted by Director János Nagy. After a pleasant lunch, Dr. Zoltán Lakner, the programme's research advisor, gave a presentation focusing on the University's academic performance and the analysis of its research networks. The technical programme was followed by a tractor-drawn deer tour, and the day was rounded up with a deer roast and tasting of local wines.
