Dr. Szandra Klátyik - MATE Research
Overview
The scientific research of Dr. Szandra Klátyik is connected to the ecotoxicological assessment of agricultural pollutants (e.g., toxins produced by first-generation genetically modified plants, veterinary and pesticide formulations) on non-target plant and animal organisms using various standardized and self-developed test systems. Short- and long-term monitoring of the individual and combined effects of the tested substances at the individual and community level are also included in her research interests. Additional research areas cover mainly the application of enzyme activity testing methods and biomarkers in toxicity assessment. She demonstrates professional skills in the environmental monitoring of the environmental fate of agricultural pollutants using various analytical methods.

Projects
Project no. 1.: Hort4EUGreen (ERASMUS+ project, 2020-1-RO01-KA203-080398)
Hort4EUGreen Enhancing practical skills of horticulture specialists to better address the demands of the European Green Deal
The general objective of the Hort4EUGreen project is to train staff and students of partner organizations in four topics relevant to the Europe Green Deal, such as their knowledge and practical skills in using modern (crop) technologies enough to respond well to the real context on the labor market.
Project no. 2.: TOPPlant (ERASMUS+ project, 2020-1-AT01-KA202-078107)
TOPPlant Trainers for Plant Protection in Organic Farmings
TOPPlant project was established with the primary goal of creating a comprehensive training manual for plant protection in organic farming. The created manual contains both theoretical and practical information on ecological agriculture, encompassing strategies for managing pests, diseases, and also weeds.
Project no. 3.: NETPOULSAFE (H2020 project, Grant agreement ID: 101000728)
NETPOULSAFE Networking European poultry actors for enhancing the compliance of biosecurity measures for a sustainable production
The main goal of the NetPoulSafe project is the networking of actors in the European poultry sector in order to increase epidemic prevention and production sustainability. The European Union's network established in this area by collecting so-called "supporting measures" aimed at the development of epidemic prevention systems in poultry farms, promoting the exchange of knowledge between actors in the European poultry sector.
Project no. 4.: SIMONA (DTP project, DTP2-093-2.1-SIMONA)
SIMONA Sediment-quality Information, Monitoring and Assessment System to support transnational cooperation for joint Danube Basin water management
The main goal of SIMONA project is to respond to the current demand for effective and comparable measuremen

Project no. 5.: Aquafluosense (NVKP_16-1-2016-0049)
Aquafluosense project
The main goal of the project is to develop a new water analysis system for natural and artificial waters, allowing complex, systematic and for main parameters in situ assessment and monitoring of water quality, by developing a modul
