Projects

Development of a sustainable, waste-free production technology for insect-based protein feed and feed use with farm animals according to the circular economy model; project identifier: 2020-1.1.2-PIACI-KFI-2021-00300
NKFIH project, 2020-2024, ongoing; project role: Participant Researcher. The aim of the project is the assessment of insect larvae to be utilized as feed for livestock, and to develop a feasible and sustainable production technology in collaboration with a market leading feed manufacturer. The project also aims to promote circular economy through its achievements. https://uni-mate.hu/2020-1.1.2-piaci-kfi-2021-00300

Technological development of microalgae breeding systems, with the use of 3D printed units with unique geometry; project identifier: 2018-1.1.2-KFI-2018-00131
NKFIH project, 2018-2020, completed; project role: Project Manager. The project aimed to design novel breeding equipment for industrial scale microalga cultivation. The controlled alga growth units of the technology were manufactured by 3D printing technology. https://nkfih.gov.hu/palyazoknak/nkfi-alap/tamogatott-projektek-2018-112-kfi

Development of an integrated agricultural biological waste management system; project identifier: GINOP-2.2.1-15-2017-00045
NKFIH project, 2017-2020, completed; project role: Project Manager. The project consortium devised an Integrated Agricultural Biological Waste Management System. Project participants included the academic sector (MATE), a Hungarian business firm producing and developing biological waste management technologies (Profikomp Környezettechnika Zrt.), and an end-user (Béke Agrár Kft.). https://palyazatok.uni-mate.hu/ginop-2.2.1-15-2017-00045
