Overview

Dr. Gábor Géczi's current teaching and research work focuses on air quality protection. His research work includes the determination and analysis of the concentration of outdoor air pollutants, in particular particulate matter (PM); the investigation of the transmission and the clarification and validation of prediction models. Measurements have been carried out to determine radon (222Rn) and carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations affecting indoor air quality and to detect the effects on air quality of air conditioning-ventilation and energy systems affecting comfort parameters. Previously, he has also worked on the energetic analysis of air-to-water heat pumps and the detection of non-thermal effects in microwave heating of liquid food.
