To promote MATE's international scientific excellence, earlier this year the University's leadership established the Research Excellence Programme, which currently involves  hundred of the university's most outstanding researchers.

The participants of the Programme first met in person at a community picknick at MATE's Buda Campus. In addition to the social experience, such meetings are also important because they provide an occasion to explore opportunities for research collaborations between researchers from different disciplines.

The Research Excellence Programme's main objective is to strengthen MATE's international embeddedness, to stimulate interdisciplinary collaborations and knowledge transfer within the research community.
